One of Sydney's leading Data Centre

The premium hosting facility is located in the Equinix Data Centre in Sydney, one of the leading Australian Data Centres and responsible for hosting some of the worlds largest websites. Our servers in this facility are set aside for hosting our premium business clients. We have full control over what is put on these servers and we keep a constant eye on system resources and server uptime. Some of the features of the data centre include:

• Uninterruptible power backed by redundant feeds, generators, and UPS systems, including Caterpillar generators and 44-hour onsite fuel storage.
• Bandwidth provided by Telstra, MCI/Verizon, NTT/Verio. This ensures exceptional performance and reliability.
• Enterprise-grade Cisco® switches/routers for the entire network.
• Air-cooled chilled-water and cooling tower system, achieving 750W/m^2 of cooling to 22 degrees.
• Robust security featuring 24x7x365 CCTV Surveillance and biometric access devices (fingerprint scanning).

Strict 3-stage Backup Procedures

1. Nightly on-site backups (backs up to a different machine in the same data centre ensuring no bandwidth charges)
2. Dual hard drive setup (RAID 1 configuration) meaning if one hard drive fails it automatically swaps to a mirror secondary drive ensuring no down time.
3. Monthly off-site backup for protection against whole of data centre attacks (can be made more frequent for individual clients on request).

Controlled Software Installation

Installation of server side software such as payment clients from the leading banks is possible with our involvement.

24 / 7 Support

We provide support to clients hosting in this facility 24 / 7 for critical server issues (i.e. if the server goes down).

Our small business facility is based in the LaSalle data center in downtown Chicago. Chicago is one of the most connected cities in the world and serves as one of North America's largest Internet hubs. It is also the greenest city in the US for data center locations. We utilise this facility in the US primarily because of the affordability of bandwidth when compared to Australian facilities. However we also have a great partnership with one of the most respected data centre management teams in America who are available around the clock and only a phone call or email away 24 / 7.

Of course we have full root access to the server and can deal with most issues from here but it is comforting to know the support is there on the ground if we need it.

Some of our biggest and busiest websites are hosted in this facility on dedicated servers and we have full confidence in the facility and the management team. We also have the bulk of our small business clients hosted here as our most affordable hosting option.

Our small business facility is based in a shared hosting environment enabling for the lowest cost possible for small business.

Standard Configuration - No additional software allowed

We restrict the small business environment so that people cannot install 3rd party executable software such as a bank's payment client on the server. This maximises speed and reduces risk of server downtime.
