Dan and the team at Web Circle recently developed the online component of our Careers Planning and Management training package and Im particularly thrilled with the outcome. A number of key issues influenced our decision to progress with the online pieces and the team helped us work through each of them to find the best possible solution. HR had very strong opinions about content inclusions and this content should interact with other elements of the training package; our own internal online design skills was limited; online training was still under utilised and potentially foreign to many of our staff; the launch of this piece was scheduled within a period of restructure so the pieces needed to be both engaging and meaningful. We decided to use an online character called Jane to facilitate people trough the four Career Management exercises. Web Circle provided all the guidance and templates needed to organise our thinking, prepare our initial brief, and position the outcomes of the online exercises within the broader context of the training package - delivered on time and within budget. I'm not only very pleased with the final result, I'm extremely happy with the way we got there and have already asked the Web Circle team to quote on upcoming projects.
