Web Circle is a web design agency which specialises in designing and building web-based tools using world class open source systems.
Web Circle was started by Dan Norris in Brisbane in 2005 as Connect Media Group (elearning) and Web Circle (websites). These days we just come under the name Web Circle which better reflects what we do.
In 2009 we acquired A Website Designer which further strengthened our position as an open-source website specialist.
Our main office is on the Gold Coast however we also have a casual office in Brisbane and work for clients all around Australia (and some overseas).

Our mission is to constantly look for new ways to help our clients get the most out of the web.

- acting transparently and honestly with our clients and the rest of the industry,
- offering the full range of services from domain registration to website design, elearning, application development, and website marketing so our clients can rely on us as their "one-stop-shop" for web related services,
- providing a friendly, personable service to all of our clients, and
- constantly evolving and looking for ways to provide a better service to our clients.
Peace of Mind Policies
We understand what clients are looking for and what bugs them about poor web providers. As such we have developed policies which provide comfort to clients such as:
- Where possible we use affordable or open source systems meaning our clients get the most advanced websites possible for the lowest price.
- We have no lock-in contracts for anything so our clients can come and go as they please. This keeps our focus on providing excellent service to our existing clients.
- We provide ongoing support and hosting for our websites but both are optional. We will happily host sites not built by us and happily build sites to work on other servers.
- We maintain and provide a passwords document for each client meaning that at any stage if the client wishes to access their web systems directly or engage a new web provider they can do so quickly and easily.
- We develop in standard technologies ensuring you are free to engage other web developers in the future if you wish to for whatever reason. This also means clients have easy access to affordable hosting solutions and our sites will run on almost any server.
- We happily make all source files for each project available to the client on request.
We have never had to involuntarily hand over a client to another firm but we understand that such policies give new clients comfort and they keep us motivated to provide a high level of service.
