In late 2009 Web Circle acquired Melbourne-based Website Design business A Website Designer.

A Website Designer was a solo Website Design business started by Mike Allbutt in 2006. Mike was moving overseas and wanted a new home for his clients and his high ranking website http://awebsitedesigner.com.au.

The acquisition not only allowed us to welcome a range of great new clients Mike had built up over the years but it also improved our business in areas that is benefitting our existing clients.

One of Web Circle's strategies is to grow our business primarily through word of mouth and natural search engine results. This keeps costs down for existing clients by keeping a lid on advertising time and money. For Web Circle, A Website Designer represented a great way to acquire a site that consistently ranks on the front page in Google for the term "Website Design" Australia wide.
